The works in Unreal disrupt our conception of a discrete form and obliterate the literal. This show was an exercise in self-contextualization. Small interventions of the typical exhibition process occurred- porcelain nails were inserted in holes from the previous exhibition, labels were hung like the other works on paper, and the catalog featured only images of the packages the art arrived in and the backs of the work.
