This project takes the shape of the pedestal and vitrine, only using two mirror instead of clear Plexiglas. The simple shift makes the objects useless while also referencing the minimalist cube and artists such as Larry Bell and Robert Morris. With the viewer unable to see in, one wonders if there is art inside that can see us?
This is the first iteration of an ongoing project, where an art piece continues to manifest in every new exhibition as is both the piece from before and the next layer of a larger project. This is the first layer.
